General Info
Datsun was an automobile marque created in 1931 by the DAT Motorcar Co. Later in 1933, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. took control of DAT Motorcar Co. Nissan phased out the Datsun brand in March 1986. The Datsun name is most famous for the sports cars 240Z referred to as the Nissan S30 (or Fairlady Z in Japan). In 2004, Sports Car International named this car number two on the list of Top Sports Cars of the 1970s.
